The border between India and Pakistan, particularly in the region of Kashmir, is a hotbed of conflict. The two countries have fought several wars over this disputed territory. The Line of Control (LoC), which divides Kashmir, is heavily militarized, with daily exchanges of gunfire.
Terrorism, cross-border infiltration, and military standoffs make this border extremely volatile.
