An 107-year-old woman, who lived through both world wars, has revealed her secret to longevity was to say single.

The retired nurse, Brenda Osborne, was born in 1913, and has shared her tips with carers at her retirement home during her 105th birthday party.
She revealed to them she made it to 107 by steering well clear of blokes, getting out in the fresh air, and working hard.
Brenda was born in the same year as the first ever Chelsea Flower Show, and has received an award for only having one day off sick in 33 years as a nurse. She lived in her childhood home for an amazing 93 years before she moved to her current residence in the nursing home at the age of 106.
