A mum tragically leaves behind her 13-year-old quadruplets after dying from coronavirus. Shabnum Sadiq, who worked as a ‘dedicated’ Slough Borough Councillor representing the Labour party, died following Covid-19 complications.

The 39-year-old had travelled to Pakistan for a wedding in early March but was struck down by the virus five days into the short trip.
Family friend and fellow Wexham Lea Labour representative Cllr Haqeeq Dar says Shabnum was battling to breathe on a ventilator for 24 days before her death.
On June 26 2006, Shabnum gave birth to quadruplets by planned Caeserean section, beating 729,000-to-one odds to produce naturally conceived quads.
