We all think we could do with getting some more sleep – and we’d do it for free – but NASA is offering a job that pays ยฃ12,000 to sleep for 70 days.

In order toย see how the human body adapts to weightlessness, scientistsย areย recruitingย participantsย for a ‘bed rest’ study.
NASA saysย that developing countermeasures for the effects of space flight often requires investigators to rely on human subjects to support data collection – so they basically need people to sleep through their studies.
In the study, the human test subject must live, eat in the same position as it causes the body, and cardiovascular system, to adapt as if it were in space. Results allow countermeasures to be devised that will help astronauts on space missions, as well as bed-ridden people on Earth.
Soย you get to sleep through seven Mondays and help the future of the human race in the process – could there be a better job?
