There are many shocks felt in the Benevento area, as we have informed you here, but at 11.36 the shock was felt at the most intense moment of the day.

According to data from INGV seismographs it was an earthquake of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale, with a hypocenter at a depth of about 14 km. Epicenter is the area of San Leucio del Sannio, just 6 km south-west of Benevento. This new quake was clearly felt throughout the Sannio and also on the coasts of Campania between Naples and Salerno. Fear also in the Caserta area and in Irpinia. The earth trembled sharply for a few seconds, but without causing damages.
Now the fear grows among the population: there are already 8 tremors detected today, of which 5 are well felt by the population in a wide range. We remind you that the schools in Benevento have been closed.
