An earthquake shock occurred in Northern Italy, in Emilia Romagna.
No damage to property or people has been reported.

From the first estimates of INGV, it was a shock of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale having an epicenter in Correggio (RE), on the border between Reggio Emilia and Modena, about 18 km from the city of Modena. The earthquake, which occurred at a depth of about 6 km, was distinctly felt in the epicentral area: many reports from Modena and Carpi, close to the epicenter, where a roar was also associated with the shock. But the telluric movement was also perceived in Reggio Emilia and Bologna.
