World Nutella Day is celebrated internationally on 5 February, with fans gathering at home, in the office, and on social media to share recipes and savor the taste of chocolate-hazelnut spread invented in Italy in 1964.

Among the many initiatives and novelties on 5 February is the news that all McDonald’s Italian outlets will now offer Nutella, adding the new McCrunchy Bread to the menu. To celebrate the news, McDonald’s outlets in Milan, Rome, Naples, and Bari will offer McCrunchy Bread for free to customers on 5 February, from 15.00-18.00.
The World Nutella Day initiative was created in 2007 by Sara Rosso, who decided to create a celebratory day to unite fans around the world in their passion for Nutella. Fans can share their photos and recipes on the website of Nutella, whose Ferrero manufacturers recently launched the hugely-successful Nutella biscuits in Italy.
