DONALD Trump has pledged to send $100 million worth of medical supplies to Italy as fears are raised about equipment shortages in U.S hospitals.

Italy remains the global epicenter of the coronavirus crisis and the death toll there has now reached 11,591 with 102,000 cases. The President said he had spoken to the Italian Prime Minister and made the promise of equipment.“We’re going to be sending approximately $100 million worth of things, of surgical and medical and hospital things to Italy,” Trump told in the White House. “And Giuseppe was very, very happy, I will tell you that, they’re having a very hard time.”
