Melanie Ollick Komninos’s daughter was potentially exposed to the coronavirus from a nurse who had been at her home. The nurse had previously worked in close contact with a doctor who was tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to nj.com, her daughter already has other medical conditions like cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She even needs to receive nourishment from a tube in her abdomen. The 14-year-old also suffers from chronic lung infections.
After her daughter Zoey was tested positive and placed in quarantine, Melanie spent all her time with Zoey at (HUMC) pediatric intensive care unit.
In a most recent post at the time of this publication, Melanie assured well-wishers that “Baby girl is snoring, resting and breathing comfortably. Thank the Lord! Amen”.
