Actor Luke Perry, best known and famous for roles on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Riverdale, has died after suffering a stroke. He was only 52.

“Actor Luke Perry, 52, passed away today after suffering a massive stroke,” Perry’s publicist Arnold Robinson said in a statement.“The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy.
“No further details will be released at this time,” the statement added.Last Wednesday, US media reported that paramedics had been called to the actor’s home in Sherman Oaks. At the time a spokesman for Perry told the Press Association that he was “currently under observation at the hospital.”
Perry is best known for playing Dylan McKay in the teen show Beverly Hills,90210 and was currently starring as Archie’s father Fred Andrews in Riverdale.

The actor is survived by his son Jack, 21, and daughter Sophie, 18, from his marriage to ex-wife Rachel Sharp. Tributes have flooded in for the actor on social media.
