From 1st May, the Parma area of ​​the pre-Apennines has been affected by a seismic sequence, with small-magnitude earthquakes, whose epicenters fall in an area of ​​about 10 kilometers stretched in an east-west direction.

Up to now 70 seismic events of magnitude between 1.7 and 3.2 have been located in this area, of which 15 with a magnitude equal to or greater than 2.5.
The closest locations to these events are Felino (PR), about 6 km south-west of the epicentral area, Collecchio (PR) about 8 km north-west, and Parma.
