A heavily pregnant nurse who died with coronavirus after her daughter was born by C-section has been named. Mary Agyapong, 28, died after undergoing an emergency caesarean to deliver and save her baby daughter.

PZhuhai, a city with a population of 1.7 million, issued the order in line with a government’s proposal which lists dogs as ‘companion animals.
The little girl is understood to be alive but it is not yet clear if she has tested positive for the disease. An internal email to staff explained the decision to perform an emergency cesarean was taken after Mary’s condition deteriorated.
Doctors initially thought she was showing signs of improving afterward but her symptoms got worse again and she passed away on Sunday.
