Trees falling throughout Rome due to strong winds.

People in Rome are being advised to “limit their movements” in light of the “possible deterioration of weather conditions in the coming hours” as a storm hits the capital.
The safety warning, issued by Rome’s civil protection authority, comes as strong winds are causing trees and branches to fall throughout the city, leading to numerous street closures and traffic problems.
Many public parks and cemeteries have been closed, in addition to the city’s schools. A severe weather warning remains in place into 30 October.
