A baker since 1977, Anthony Meriano was no stranger to the world of baking. Growing up watching his mother, grandmothers, and aunt make traditional Italian baked goods, he was destined to become a master baker.

He worked in the finest bakeries on the shoreline when he decided to open up his own in 1988. Meriano’s Bake Shoppe was the shoreline’s first full-line bakery.
With the addition of his sister Andrea Meriano, the bakery has held on to its Mom and Pop roots while stepping into the new century with pizzazz.
Meriano’s Bake Shoppe still offers all the traditional Italian favorites you’d be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.
