Slovenia earthquake felt clearly in Italian regions of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto.

A 4.2-magnitude earthquake was registered at 04.50 this morning, Friday 17 July, in Slovenia, near the border with the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region in north-east Italy, reports Italian news agency ANSA.


The earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 km, with its epicentre in Plezzo, Slovenia, 17 km from the towns of Taipana and Pulfero, in the Udine area of Italy, according to Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV).
